Mis Reliquias
My Relics-lucky number 13. Starting with a Vintage box camera from the 1930's; it was a birthday gift last year my dad gave me, I absolutely love it! Continuous with a film format canon, small Kodak, 35 mm canon, collection of plastic cameras-Holga; 35 mm and 120 ISO and of course some Polaroid cameras (which I still use) and the last but not least my very antique polaroid land camera model 95! First polaroid camera ever created.. A birthday present as well from a very good friend :D

Today I feel like using font, and so a positive message within an image.. The image shows a calm ocean in a warm day (it sure was) however, the message says "Always do what you are afraid of" Not a very calm peaceful message but it gives you a push with a bit of courage..

Today the sun woke me up coming through my window. I decided to step outside and enjoy a little sunshine on my back yard. I know it needs to be trimmed but what the hell.. It looks kinda cool i think..
I like the halo that surrounds me, seems like I'm attracting all the positive vibes that the sun brings- and really it felt that way.

Lovely Morning.
These are the three things my eyes looked when I woke up this morning and they really made my day; Chubaka (my dog), Rex (my bunny) and a glass of water..

El Baúl de Los Recuerdos
A poem written for me a while ago. It means so much to me that I tend to keep it in a safe place??!
"La ciudad Dormida"
Urban landscapes afterdark
the moods and the possibilities
that begin to blow after midnight
push and pull creative minds
like a calm full moon on a restless ocean
forcing it to flow
inviting it to ebb the mind
an ancient full moon static
stuck in a narrow present
set free in an urban landscape after dark.

A hidden firework..
Hi guys! Sorry I'm now just posting this.. I had a long day today and i just got home (totally forgot today's picture) :s.. Anyhow, yesterday (the 4th) I worked late and got off just before the fireworks went off, I did get to "see" the last part of it, tho there were a few trees blocking my view I like the composition of this picture..

Happy birthday America!
This is one of the few times I get to experiment an indoor long exposure technique. After a few attempts I got a neat one (the rest were blurry and stupid) I will explore more about this technique in near future because i think its awesome. I just think this is a job where more than two hands are needed-with the help of a tripod and an ipod were not enough..

Fine art shadows
Last week I found swimming around in my backpack a 35 mm undeveloped film. I couldn't help to wonder how long it was there for! I was very curious and just recently went to the lab and developed it. I didn't get to go into the darkroom :( but I scanned the negatives and I was in shock to see these images- this film its about five years old! Its from my first visit to Balboa Park in San Diego. Good memories! Here are two prints of some of the hallways that i run into. I love the dramatic contrast of the shadows and light, hope you do too..
